  • WHAT IS A VEHICLE WRAP?
A vehicle wrap is where a pressure activated vinyl is applied to your vehicle’s paint with special squeegees and wrap gloves. This vinyl comes in many different finishes and textures and can transform the look of the vehicle dramatically. Businesses use vehicle wraps to advertise on their vehicles and consumers use vehicle wraps to stand apart from the crowd, customize their vehicle or simply change the color of their vehicle.

  • HOW MUCH DOES A WRAP COST?
Pricing is directly in relation to the area of the vehicle being covered, complexity of installation and material choice. With the level of custom work that a vehicle wrap demands, it is hard to say exactly what a vehicle wrap costs. Please contact us today to get the conversation started so we can help you with your vehicle wrap needs.

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL A VEHICLE WRAP?
The process to install a commercial vehicle wrap includes approval of design, printing, laminating and trimming the vinyl. This is all done before your vehicle arrives, the installation stage typically takes 1-3 days depending on coverage and size of vehicle. For color change films, a color is chosen and a date is scheduled for your vehicle. You can expect 2-4 days for installation of a color change film on your vehicle.

  • HOW LONG DOES A VEHICLE WRAP LAST?
If the wrap is well cared for you can expect 5-7 years out of your vinyl wrap. We’ve seen longer but these were cars that weren't outdoors much. We typically give a lifespan for color change films 5-7 years and 5 years for digitally printed wraps. Vinyl wraps are just like paint in that, when properly cared for they last, when not taken care of or neglected, the lifespan dramatically decreases.

  • WILL A VINYL WRAP PROTECT MY VEHICLE?
Absolutely. Print film and color change film vary in thickness but are around 2-5 mils thick. This will protect your vehicle’s underlying paint job from light debris and small rock chips, as well as, sun exposure.

  • IS THE VINYL WRAP REMOVABLE?
Yes, the vinyl wrap is completely removable and will not leave any adhesive residue, restoring the car to its original paint color and condition just like before the wrap was installed.

  • CAN YOU WRAP A LEASED VEHICLE?
Yes you can and a matter of fact, a leased vehicle is the perfect candidate for a vinyl wrap because of its clean 100% removability and vast color options not offered through the dealerships. Warranties and/or lease agreements remain valid as well. Just let us know when the lease is coming to an end and we can help with the removal process of the vinyl wrap.

  • HOW DO I CARE FOR MY WRAPPED VEHICLE?
Hand washes with mild soap and water are best but you want to use an after care product once the wash is done. We have had success using McGuiars Quick Detail with a mircro fiber towel. This will keep the wrap from drying out and cracking over time. You can take the wrapped vehicle through a brushless car wash but is not our first choice of cleaning because they are often hard on the vinyl wrap. Do not power wash as the edges of the wrap will not hold up against the pressure of the water. For spot cleaning, use simple green or 70% Isopropyl alcohol and rinse with water when finished. Clean bird droppings, tree sap and other stains immediately, lettting these stay on the film for too long will make them more difficult to remove and degrade the quality of the wrap.
